Lakshmi Vilas Bank brings banking to your mobile phone.

Use your mobile phone to inquire your latest account balance, know the status of cheque book request, etc. via SMS

Any customer holding a Savings or Current account with us is eligible.

Note: The Customers who have already registered for SMS Alert facility with the bank have to initiate a Registration SMS request from your Mobile to LVB SMS Banking system and get registered for the SMS Request service.

Salient Features of SMS Banking

• Daily balance alerts in the morning. (only for Current Account holders) 
• Alert on any debit transactions of Rs.5,000/- and above. (only for Savings Bank Account holders)
• Alert on any credit transactions of RS.5,000/- and Above. (only for Savings Bank Account holders)
• Alert on any debit transactions of Rs.10,000/- and above. ( for Current Account holders)
• Alert on any credit transactions of RS.10,000/- and Above. ( for Current Account holders)
• Over line / Temporary Overdraft Alerts.
• Registration for Mobile Banking**
• Facility to change the Default account.
• Account Balance Details(account attached to the respective CIF ID)
• Account Activity(Last 5 Transactions)
• Cheque status enquiry
• Fixed Deposit Details
• Change Default account
• De-registration
  
  ** Initially the user has to submit a form for registering his mobile number with the bank, before activating the mobile banking services.

Fees for SMS Banking

The one time registration fee of Rs. 100/- will be debited from the account on activation of SMS Banking facility (for both Savings and Current Account Holders)

For Saving Account Holders:

An annual fee of Rs. 100/ - will be debited from the account at quarterly rests (Rs. 25/- per quarter).

For Current Account Holders:

Account holders can subscribe  for  either or both of the following alerts

1.  Daily Balance Alerts 

2.  Alerts for debit/credit transactions of Rs. 10,000/-  and above.

On subscribing to any one of the above alerts, an annual fee of Rs. 100/ - will be debited from the account at quarterly rests (Rs. 25/- per quarter) .  However, if  customer subscribes for both alerts, then an additional  annual fee of Rs. 100/- will be debited from the account at quarterly rest (Rs. 25/- per quarter).
